Apostille Services

However, as the latest update in November 2023, Hong Kong, as a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China, does not issue apostilles directly. The usual process involves the following steps:
- Notarization in China or Hong Kong: Get the documents notarized by a recognized notary public in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Authentication by Chinese Authorities: Have the documents authenticated by the relevant Chinese authorities, such as the local Foreign Affairs Office and potentially the Chinese consulate in Hong Kong.
- Legalization by Indian Consulate: Submit the authenticated documents to the Consulate General of India in Hong Kong for further legalization.
